Methotrexate Injection is used for Psoriasis, Arthritis, Chronic active hepatitis, Cancers of breast, Pemphigus, Cancer of the head and neck, Uveitis, Skin cancer, Head and neck cancer, Lung cancer and other conditions. Methotrexate Injection may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Methotrexate Injection contains Methotrexate as an active ingredient.
Methotrexate Injection works by stopping the growth of cells in tumors and decreasing the activity of the immune system.
Methotrexate Injection Uses
Methotrexate Injection is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
· Psoriasis
· Arthritis
· Chronic active hepatitis
· Cancers of breast
· Pemphigus
· Cancer of the head and neck
· Uveitis
· Skin cancer
· Head and neck cancer
· Lung cancer
· Rheumatoid arthritis

Methotrexate Injection – Side-effects
The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Methotrexate Injection. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.
· Sensitivity to light
· Dizziness
· Skin lesions
· Hair loss
· Pain or difficulty in passing urine
· Chills
· Stomach pain
· Yellowing of the skin
· Whites of the eye
· Loss of appetite

Methotrexate Injection – Precautions & How to Use
Before using Methotrexate Injection, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert.
